How do I use Wegovy?

Using Wegovy is simple, easy and convenient. You self-inject Wegovy under the skin once a week using an injection pen. We will show you how to do this in areas like the upper arms, stomach, thighs, or buttocks.

You’ll start with a dose of 0.25mg, which will increase every four weeks until you reach the maximum maintenance dose of 2.4mg

Are there any side effects?

Wegovy, like all medications, may cause side effects, most of which are mild and typically diminish over a few weeks. Common side effects include gastrointestinal issues (nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, vomiting), fatigue, and headache. Less common side effects may include lightheadedness, flatulence, and injection site reactions. Rarely, serious side effects like pancreatitis or allergic reactions may occur. If you experience severe symptoms such as difficulty breathing, facial/lip/tongue swelling or abdominal pain, seek immediate medical help.
